Aeropose is a guidance tool only. It is NOT a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and must not be used as a substitute for professional advice from a qualified bicycle fitter, physiotherapist, sports medicine practitioner, or other relevant professional.
- The analysis and recommendations provided by this application are generated automatically by computer vision software and artificial intelligence algorithms. Results may be inaccurate or incomplete.
- Bicycle fit adjustments can affect your physical health, comfort, and safety. Incorrect adjustments can cause or aggravate injury including but not limited to musculoskeletal injuries, nerve damage, and repetitive strain conditions.
- Professional advice should be sought prior to making any adjustments to your bicycle if you are not experienced in bicycle fitting.
- Before making any adjustment recommended by this application, ensure you understand the change being made and its potential effects on your riding position and safety.
- All fixtures, bolts, and components must be tightened to the manufacturer's specified torque recommendations using a calibrated torque wrench before road testing any adjusted bicycle. Failure to do so may result in component failure and serious injury.
- Before riding, verify that you are able to operate all controls (brakes, gears, steering) normally and can safely bring your bicycle to a complete stop and place both feet flat on the ground from a standing position.
- Do not ride on public roads or in traffic until you have satisfied yourself in a safe, controlled environment that all adjustments are correct and you are comfortable and in full control of the bicycle.
🔧 Safe Adjustment Checklist
Before riding after any adjustment:
- All bolts tightened to manufacturer's torque specification
- Saddle secure — no fore/aft movement when pushed
- Seatpost clamp secure — saddle does not rotate under load
- Handlebar secure — no rotation under load
- Stem bolts tightened evenly and to spec
- Cleats (if adjusted) tightened and pedal engagement/release tested on foot first
- Both brakes tested — firm lever feel, full stopping power
- Test ride in a safe, traffic-free area before road use
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Aeropose (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
These terms apply to all users of the Service, whether accessing via the web application, desktop application, or API.
2. Nature of the Service — Guidance Tool Only
Aeropose uses computer vision and pose estimation technology to analyse video footage of a rider on a bicycle and provide measurements and suggestions regarding riding position.
The Service:
- Is a guidance tool only and does not provide medical, physiotherapy, or professional bicycle fitting advice
- Is not a medical device and has not been assessed, approved, or registered as a medical device under any regulatory framework
- Produces results that are estimates based on automated analysis which may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies
- Cannot account for individual anatomy, pre-existing injuries, medical conditions, or professional fitting conventions that require in-person assessment
- Should be used as one input among several when making decisions about bicycle fit — not as the sole determinant
3. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Aeropose and its developers, operators, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers shall not be liable for any:
- Personal injury, bodily harm, or death arising from use of or reliance on any recommendation, measurement, or output of the Service
- Loss or damage to property including but not limited to bicycles, components, or equipment
- Financial loss, loss of income, or consequential losses of any nature
- Health-related issues, physical conditions, or medical conditions arising from or aggravated by adjustments made following recommendations of the Service
- Injury, damage, or loss sustained during road testing or riding following any adjustment
- Damage caused by incorrectly tightened components, stripped threads, or component failure following adjustments
This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which a claim is based (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if Aeropose has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in such jurisdictions, liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Service responsibly and in accordance with these terms
- Seek professional advice before acting on any recommendation if you are not experienced in bicycle fitting
- Ensure all mechanical adjustments are made safely and correctly
- Verify that your bicycle is safe to ride after any adjustment before road use
- Not use the Service as a substitute for professional medical, physiotherapy, or sports science advice
- Ensure that video footage uploaded to the Service does not infringe the rights of any third party
- Keep your account credentials secure and notify us of any unauthorised access
5. Accuracy of Analysis
Automated pose estimation and bicycle fit analysis is subject to:
- Lighting conditions, camera angle, and video quality
- Clothing and equipment that obscures body landmarks
- Algorithm limitations in detecting key anatomical points
- Variation in individual anatomy not captured by generic models
Angle measurements and recommendations are approximations and should be treated as starting points for discussion with a qualified professional, not definitive prescriptions.
6. Intellectual Property
The Aeropose application, its code, branding, and reports are the intellectual property of the Aeropose developers. Analysis reports generated by the Service for a given user belong to that user.

7. Data and Privacy
Use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, and storage of data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Video footage uploaded for analysis is retained on our servers/storage for a limited period (up to 30 days) to allow troubleshooting of analysis issues, then automatically deleted. Analysis results (joint angles, recommendations, PDF reports) are retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Payments and Refunds
Detailed PDF reports are available for purchase. Payment is processed by Stripe and subject to Stripe's Terms of Service. Once a detailed report has been generated and delivered, refunds are at our discretion. If a report was not generated due to a system error, a full refund will be issued.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
